In this issue the Technology Department is introducing a new feature - a web page dedicated to keeping you informed of interruptions to our services. We hope this isn't needed very often, but it should prove useful when you wonder if we're having problems with E-mail, or if the Internet is slow, or if "Discovery" is down.

The Technology Department is asking for your help in planning our workshops for the next semester. We are planning to offer the usual mix of Word, PowerPoint, and Email classes, but would like to hear more from teachers about their needs. Is there an area of technology you would like to see training offered?
Send your requests for classes to Mike Breidenstein by replying to this E-mail message.
We also are in need of instructors. If you are interested
in teaching a 2 hour class (4 - 6) please let us know.

| Problems with technology can have a negative impact on our work. A failed server or broken network connection prevents access to E-mail, online attendance, the Internet and other utilities needed in our classes.
The technology department has created a news page to
keep you informed on technology issues as they
develop.
