Masked Booby

 The Masked Booby is one of three species of Booby found in the Galapagos Islands. Others include the Blue Footed and Red Footed Booby. The Masked Booby is the heaviest of the three. Their body is white, the wings are fringed with black and the beak is orangish yellow. They have a black mask about their eyes.

The Masked Booby nests on the ground, laying two eggs, five days apart, but this is quickly reduced to only one chick through the process ofr fraticide.
